WPL2023: Younis Qawama and Waseem Khan shines, Eleven Brothers enter in to the Quarterfinals

Eleven Brothers Kashmir defeated Imaad Tigers Srinagar by 5 wickets in the pre quarter match of on going Wular Premier League here at Sheikh Ul Aalam Sports Ground Tarzoo.

After winning the toss Imaad Tigers skipper decided to bat first, while batting first openers gave a good start and with 57 opening partnership between Tanveer and Junaid before Junaid was caught by Sheikh Junaid on the bowling of Legendary cricketer Imran Haroon. After that wickets were down in regular intervals and the team scored 142 runs allout in 18.5 overs. Tanveer was the highest scorer with 38 while Kafeel made 31 runs in the total score. Skipper of Eleven Brothers Younis Qawam took the four wicket haul while Legendary cricketer Imran Haroon took three wickets for Brothers.

In reply, chasing a target of 143 runs Eleven Brothers Kashmir finished the target in 15.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets with help of Waseem Khan’s firey knock of 66 off 25 balls and Raja Tanveer’s quick 25 off 11 balls. Saleem Rather and Junaid took three and two wickets respectively for Tigers.

Eleven Brothers Kashmir qualified for the Quarterfinals of the league.

Younis Qawam was declared player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell in which he took 4 wickets.
