PCC Tarzoo qualifies for the pre-quarter finals
PCC Tarzoo defeated Tarzoo Blues by 29 runs in the ongoing Wular Premier League here at Sheikh Ul Aalam Sports Ground Tarzoo on Sunday morning.
Earlier, after wining the toss PCC Tarzoo decided bat first while batting first PCC manage to score 147 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the alloted 20 overs in which Danish Dar made 57 runs while Javid Ambar made 51 runs for the team. Arfat took 3 wickets and Danish took one wicket for Blues.
In reply, the Tarzoo blues fail to chase the target of 148 runs, in the end they fell short by 29 runs Waseem and Arfat played 38 and 23 runs innings respectively. For PCC Tarzoo Junaid Rather took 2 wickets while Danish Dar took one.
Danish Dar was declared player of the match for his brilliant all-round performance he made 57 runs and took 1 wicket.
Waseem Ahmad won super sixes award, he hit 3 sixes in his innings.
The tournament is organized by Sports Association Tarzoo.
