Suhil Paul misses ton, Star Cricket Club thrash Blue Star Safapora by 104 runs
Tarzoo, July 06: Star Cricket Club Humhama defeated Blue Star Safapora by a huge margin of 104 runs in the on going Wular Premier League here at Sheikh-Ul-Aalam sports ground Tarzoo on Saturday.
Earlier, after winning the toss Blue Star Safapora invited Star Humhama to bat first which was not good decision, as Star Humhama posted a huge score of 218 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs in which Suhil Paul played attacking Cricket, but he missed ton by 6 runs, Pual made 94 runs while as Hyder Ali fired 53 off 17 balls and set the target of 219 runs for them. Tariq, Omer and Waseem took 2 wickets each for Blue Star team.
In reply, chasing the target Blue Star Safapora managed to score 114 runs only. Thus, lost the match but 104 runs. Irfan made 19 Nayeem and Zubair added 15 runs each for Blue Star Safapora. Rafiq Baba and Touseef took 3 wickets each for Star Humhama.
Star Cricket Club Humhama won the match by 104 runs and became the first team to qualify for pre quarter final stage of WPL 2019.
Suhil Paul was declared man of the match for his brilliant 94 runs knock.
