Srinagar, Feb 18: Mumbai U-23 team defeated Jammu and Kashmir team by 3 runs in the on going Mens Cricket Under 23 One Day League And Knockout (2018-19) match played at K L Saini Stadium, Jaipur.
Earlier Jammu and Kashmir team Skipper won the toss and decided to field first, while batting first Mumbai team were all out on 241 runs in 49.1 overs.
For them Atharva Vinod Ankolekar scored 63 runs and Chinmay Sutar made 44 runs.
For Jammu and Kashmir Abid Mushtaq took three Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganai took two while as Auqib Nabi, Abhishant Bakshi and Muneeb Munaf took one wicket each.
In reply Jammu and Kashmir team fought well but couldn’t finish it on winning note and scored 238 runs for the loss of 9 wickets and lost the match by 3 runs.
For J&K team Nipun Verma scored 73 and Abhishant Bakshi made 39 runs for the team.
For Mumbai Siddharth Akre took three, Kruthik Hanagavadi took two while as Karsh M Kothari and Atharva Vinod took one wicket each.
It was the fourth consecutive defeat for Jammu and Kashmir team in this tournament.
