Royal Rangers Aakura lifts Promotional Cup Title
Mattan, October 11: Royal Rangers Aakura won the Promotional Cup 2020, by defeating Krangsoo Sports-A by 26 runs here at Awami Stadium Aakura Mattan, Anantnag.
Earlier, after winning the toss while batting first Royal Rangers Aakura set the target of 190 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Krangsoo Sports-A failed to chase and lost the match by 27 runs, in which Jamid scored 49 runs as highest. Thus, Royal Rangers Aakura won the match by 26 runs and became the champion team of Promotional Cup 2020 Aakura.
On the final award ceremony, Nadeem was adjudged as man of the match for his 4 wicket haul and 20 runs in the match, and Waqar Rasool was adjudged as player of the tournament for his 367 runs throughout the tournament.
The final match was witnessed by thousands of spectators with great fever and zeal. The final match occasion was graced by the members of the District Cricket Association Anantnag, Bijbehara Cricket Association, Seer Hamdan Cricket Association, Mattan Cricket Association, and Dachnipora Cricket Association.
The tournament was organized by the Aakura Cricket Association under the supervision of the Chief organizer and Deputy Chairman of Association Mr. Shabir Saleem.
