Izhar Malik, Raja Muneer shines in Tangmarg Victoria win
Tangmarg Victoria defeated Kashmir Hunks by 49 runs in the ongoing JK Wular Premier League here at Sheikh Ul Aalam Sports Ground Tarzoo on Friday after noon.
Earlier, after winning the toss Victoria skipper went straight to bat first and posted a good total of 170 runs on the board for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Raja Muneer was the top scorer with 58 while Raja Saleem fired 37 off 12 balls. For Kashmir Hunks Nazir took three and Mohammad Arif took two wickets.
In reply, the Kashmir Hunks team couldn’t achieve the target and fell 49 runs short from the target. Nazir Ahmad was the top scorer for them, he made 29 runs while Auqib Lefty scored 24 runs were the top scorers for them. Izhar Malik was brilliant with the ball, as he took 5 wicket haul. Malik for his brilliant bowling was declared player of the match and he dedicated his award to Raja Muneer. Raja Muneer was also given Super Sixes award.
