District Anantnag Tennis Ball Cricket Championship kicks off at BMHSS Bijbehara
The Three days long District Level Tennis Ball Cricket Championship kicks off at Govt. Boys Model Higher Secondary School Bijbehara today on 11th of July 2023. The District Championship was inaugurated by the Principal of the institution Mrs. Nasreena Akhter.
In her address, she praised all players for their participation in the Championship and stated that participation will bestow countless benefits to all participants. She further lauded office bearers of District Anantnag Tennisball Cricket Association for the organization of the colourful event.
In the Championship, 64 teams in Senior Boys, 8 Teams in Senior Girls, 8 team in Junior Boys and 4 teams in Junior girls have registered their entry for the Championship. The Championship is meant for both Boys and Girls teams of Senior, Junior & Sub Junior Categories of district Anantnag.
On the oppening day, the Championship has witnessed a huge response from the local clubs and participants. The total number of participation on the opening day was 320 which includes senior boys & girls. The Championship will be concluded on the 13th of July 2022. The Championship is organized by the District Anantnag Tennis Ball Cricket Association, which is affiliated with J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association. The Championship is sponsored by J&K UT Sports Council.
