The Man who has been capturing Cricket and cricketer’s in his Lense: Meet Lone Mahie

Shabir Ahmad popularly known as “Lone Mahie” has been doing rounds on social media especially on sports social media platforms has been capturing the local stars in his lense.

He used to capture personal shoots and nature shoots firstly and then gained a keen interest in cricket photography and used to shoot nearby players before Bhat Musa brought him on the stage.

Lone Mahie started his photography back in 2016 and it was in 2019 when he was brought on the stage of capturing the cricket stars of the Kashmir Valley.

Lone Mahie Idolises the British cricket photographer Patrick Eagar. Lone Mahie wants to replicate him and is donning the local fields so far with his lens. Lone Mahie’s biggest supporters have been his younger brother and his Mother who have been encouraging from the word go in picking up this field. Lone Mahie feels that it is because of the photography that I got fame, respect, and recognition from the people. He feels had it not been the photography he would have been lagging in his courtyard.

Lone Mahie is thankful to Bhat Musa and JKSportstime who gave him the platform to capture the cricket and cricket stars in his lense. He wants to represent J&K with his lens in the field of sports. He is a true artist when it comes to catching things in Lense.

Our basic aim is to highlight talent and talented players.
