Anwar Masoodi (aka Anju Peer) who hails from Kupwara is the name that instills fears in the bowlers. The Swashbuckling Right-handed batsman is known for His flamboyant approach when he bats.

Masoodi is playing cricket for the last 13 years. He started playing in 2007 with his debut team being Masoom XI and is currently playing for City Club Kupwara.

Known as the Bradman of Kupwara Masoodi has been the mainstay of the batting line up of City Club Kupwara for a long time now.
