Shubham Khujaria’s & Heenan Malik’s centuries help J&K to thrash Chandigarh by 8 wickets

Shubham Khujaria’s 120, Heenan Malik’s unbeaten 110 runs, and bowlers help J&K to crush Chandigarh by 8 wickets in their last league match of Vijay Hazare Trophy today at Jadavpur University Ground Campus 2 Kolkata.
Earlier, the Chandigarh team won the toss and decided to bat first. Chandigarh Openers Arsalan Khan and captain Manan Vohra started well as both the openers put 32 runs in 3.2 overs. After that J&K bowlers took wickets at regular intervals and restrict Chandigarh to 241 runs losing all wickets. Vohra 54 Ankit Kaushik 44 and R Bishnoi 31 were the top scorers for Chandigarh. It was a fine bowling display from J&K bowlers. Umer Nazir, Auqib Nabi, and Pervaiz Rasool took 3 wickets each. Umer Nazir 10-68-3 Auqib Nabi 10-46-3 and Skipper Pervaiz Rasool 10-27-3 while Aabid Mushtaq and Ramdayal were wicketless.
In reply, the J&K lost the early wicket of Suraynsh Raina (1) after that it was Shubham Khajuria and Henan show. Shubham Khujaria and Heenan Malik put 183 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket and J&K completed the target of 242 runs in 34 overs with 96 balls to spare. Shubham Khujaria completed his century off 67 balls while Heenan Malik scored unbeaten 110 off (88 balls). Chandigarh bowlers were hammered in all the corners of the ground J Singh and B Lather took a wicket each.
