Barkat Brothers register seven wicket victory over Pattan Xi
Palhallan, July 10: Barkat Brothers defeated Pattan Xi by 7 wickets in the ongoing Palhallan T20 Super cup here at Palhallan sports field on Wednesday.
Earlier, after winning the toss Pattan Xi decided to set the target for Barkat Brothers, while batting first Pattan Xi team was all-out on 107 runs in 18.3 overs. Bashrat was the top scorer with 37 runs, he came to bat on no 8th batsman for his team while Arshid scored 11 and lateef added 9 runs for Pattan Xi. Sajad and Aijaz Ahmad took 3 wickets each while Umar took 2, Fazil and Tanveer took 1 wicket for Barkat Brothers.
In reply, Barkat Brothers chased the said target comfortably in 16.1 overs for the loss of three wickets. Irshad remained the top scorer with 33 while Aijaz made 26 and Fazil added 10 runs in the chase for Barkat Brothers. Barkat Brothers won the match by Seven wickets. Aijaz who scored 26 runs and took three wickets was declared man of the match for his brilliant all-round performance.
