Nowbugh Sports lifts Mehfooz Premier League MPL Veeri title
Nowbugh Sports lifts the title of Mehfooz Premier League MPL Veeri by defeating Oxford Cricket Club Bijbehara on today here at Tarbal Ground Veeri Anantnag. The DFO Anantnag Mr. Mohd Ramzan Kundi grace the occasion as chief guest along with the Forest Range Officer Pahalgam Masood Ahmad, Journalist Tasaduk Rashid, Sports Analyst Dr. Riyaz Veeri, Moulana Mubashir Veeri, Sports Promoter Bashir Salroo and Others. While Speaking on the Occasion DFO Anantnag Mr. Mohd Ranzan Kundi said that such Tournaments play key role in keeping youth away from the drugs. He further assured Organizer and Management of Veeri Cricket Association for all possible help for the development of the ground.
Earlier, while Batting first Oxford Cricket Club Set the target of 132 runs in alloted overs. In reply Nowbugh Sports chased the target in the last over of the match and lifts the title of the Tournament. On the final presentation ceremony, Umer Ahmad got the man of the match award for his Hattrick and 20 runs in the match. While as Zahid Shafi got the man of the Tournament award for his 230 runs and 13 wickets in the tournament. The Runners up team got Runners up Trophy with 10000 Cash and Winning Team got Winning Trophy with 20000 cash Money. The Tournament was organized by Veeri Cricket Association under the Supervision of Chief Organizer Manzoor Ahmad Thockroo.
