Kashmir Knights Sozeith Romped into the finals of Delina Premier League 2022.

Kashmir Knights pip Talha Waseem Traders to book their place in the finals of Delina Premier League 2022.

Kashmir Knights’s allround show helped them to beat Talha Waseem Traders CC by 47 runs in the semifinals of DPL. After winning the all important toss Kashmir Knights skipper Bhat Showkat asked his men to bat first and they rose to the occassion perfectly. Skipper started with a bang firing 27 ball 45 before the seasoned campaigners Lateef Dar and Mushtaq Ahmad JD went all guns blazing against Talha Waseem Traders bowling line-up. Lateef Dar was the wrecker in chief firing an unbeaten 34 ball 64 and Mushtaq Ahmad dealt in boundaries only firing a 20 ball 58 that included as many as 6 sixes and 5 fours. Their bilitzkreig helped them post a mammoth total of 227 runs on the board. Talha Waseem Traders bowlers had no clue against them with majority of their bowlers getting a hammering from the duo. Waseem Maddy remained the pick of the bowlers scalping two wickets and conceded 31 runs in his 4 overs bowling spell. For Kashmir Knights Lateef, Mushtaq Ahmad, and Bhat Showkat were the top scorers scoring 64, 58 and 45 respectively.

In reply, while chasing the target Talha Waseem Traders batters had their chances before Aazim Rather the wrecked havoc with the ball accounting for as many as 6 wickets in his bowling spell he was ably supported by skipper Bhat Showkat who returned with a 3 wicket haul. Talha waseem Traders could not get going with only Raja Tanveer, Yawar Bilal and Arbaz getting to their thirties resulting in a 47 run loss.

Later in the post match presentation ceremony Aazim Rather was awarded with the player of the match award for his bowling heroics. Lateef Dar was given game changer award and Mushtaq Ahmad JD was awarded with Super Sixes award.
