District Shopian Pencak Silat Championship 2022-23 concludes.
The Pencak Silat Martial Art District Shopian Championship 2022-23 was held at Cambridge Noorani Educational Institute Nagbal Shopian from 19th to 20th of this month. The event is sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and organised by District Shopian Pencak Silat Association under the aegis of Pencak Silat Association of J&K. The event is part of the ongoing special sports initiative ‘My Youth My Pride’ which has so far brought thousands of players under its fold.
Around 225 athletes from different schools and clubs participated in four age groups which includes Pre-teen boys and girls, sub junior and junior boys and girls, besides senior Men and women players. principal of this Institute presided over the function as chief guest.
