Bashir Malik president, Showkat Masoodi secretary and Zahoor Tali elected Treasurer for DFA Srinagar

The Elections of District Football Association Srinagar was held on 13th of Sept. 2022 at 4:Pm at Hotel Asian Park Munarabad for the posts of President, Secretary & Treasurer of DFA Srinagar. Two nominations each were received for the posts of President, Secretary & Treasurer. Shri Bashir Ahmad Malik was declared elected as President and polled 26 Votes against Tariq Ahmad who got 20 Votes. Shri Showkat Ahmad Masoodi was elected Secretary and polled 36 Votes against Shri Fahad Riyaz Khan who polled 9 Votes. Shri Zahoor Ahmad Teli was elected as the Treasurer and polled 28 Votes against Shri Ishfaq Ahmad Khan who secured 17 Votes only. The Total No of Eligible Associated Members were 47 in which 46 were present and State Football Academy did not participate in the election meeting.

Hence Mr. Bashir Ahmad Malik, Mr Showkat Masoodi, Mr. Zahoor Ahmad teli were declared elected as President, Secretary & Treasurer of DAF Srinagar respectively.

The proceedings of election were monitored by Prof.B.A Shah, Mr. Waseem Aslam, Mohammad Aslam Dar, Mr Lateef Ahmad Bhat, Mr Sajid Yousuf Dar, Mr Mohamad Amin Khan, Mr. Irfan Ahmad Gojo & DR. Touseef Bhat. who were nominated as the observers for smooth conduct of the Elections
