In modern-day cricket, any team needs a player who can win you matches with both bat and ball, a perfect all-rounder. In Kashmir, this is the case with most of the players, they can’t be one-dimensional as the team owners here prefer players who are 3 dimensional. One such player is Naveed Ganaie, who has adapted his game to the present needs of the game. He is one of the most underrated all-rounders of the Valley. Known for his consistency and calmness on the field, Naveed is one of the best players of District Baramulla.
Naveed Ganaie hails from the small village of Panzipora Sopore and started playing cricket at a very young age, since then he has been very dedicated and passionate about his game.
Naveed is a perfect All-Rounder for any game, who bats in the middle-order and is known for his excellent strokes all around the park. Naveed is a very good bowler also and is known for his slower deliveries, which have deceived all most every batsman he has bowled against.
Apart from bat and ball, he is also a very agile fielder. Naveed Ganaie has won many man of the match and man of the tournament awards across the valley, with unbeaten 160 being his highest score in a T20 inning in his short career.
Naveed is currently the Captain of Sultan Warriors Baramulla and is also part of BCC Reds Baramulla and many other teams of North Kashmir. For now, Naveed wants to enjoy his cricket and wishes to represent Jammu and Kashmir in the future.
